This handcrafted pork pie is inspired by the traditional Melton Mowbray classic.
It also holds a special place in my heart — a small tribute to my late father-in-law and to my husband’s Rutland roots. In Andy’s family, enjoying a proper pork pie at Christmas is a much-loved tradition, and this recipe is my way of honouring that memory.
Made with pork from Surrey Hills Butchers and organic ingredients where possible, this pie is baked in the traditional way and served cold for the best flavour. Made using traditional techniques, every pork pie is fully handmade and slowly crafted over 3 days.
