This is an asian style brioche bun close to my heart. Using a Chinese/Japanese bakery method called the 'Tanzhong method' these buns are so pillowly soft and delicious, it is no wonder it's the latest rage in London right now with many Oriental bakeries popping up and filling up Instagram pages.
I'm still trialling my recipe and trying to perfect it so that it is lower in sugar than the traditional recipe but still has some sweetness to it. This is an introductory price as I continue to work on the 'ultimate recipe'.
You will get 4 buns in an order and best eaten on day or warm up quickly in the microwave or low oven to recreate that super soft texture effect.
This is the bread that inspired me to start my microbakery as well as sourdough bread, so I hope you love it as much as I do.

Organic WHITE WHEAT FLOUR (with added Calcium Carbonate* Nicotinamide*, Iron* and Thiamine*) * Not Organic, salt, organic EGGS, organic whole MILK, organic coconut sugar, organic golden caster sugar, organic butter (MILK), dry milk power (MILK), organic yeast.
