Service Description

Artisan Brioche, Cinnamon Rolls & Sourdough Treats This is a hands-on introduction to naturally fermented sweet baking. This small-group workshop is designed for sourdough bakers who want to move beyond artisan loaves and learn how to create beautifully soft, enriched sweet doughs using sourdough starter. During the session, you’ll learn my master sweet sourdough brioche dough recipe — a versatile dough that can be transformed into chocolate-filled buns, fruit-studded loaves, cinnamon rolls and more. We’ll also make a simple sourdough cookie recipe, giving you another delicious way to use your starter at home. This class is ideal for those who already have a basic understanding of sourdough and are ready to explore the sweeter side of natural fermentation. ⸻ Class Details ⏰ Time: 10:00am – 1:30pm 📍 Location: Seale & Sands Village, Farnham 👩‍🍳 Group Size: Maximum 5 people 💷 Price: £175 per person ⸻ What You’ll Learn 🥐 My master sweet sourdough brioche dough recipe 🍫 How to incorporate chocolate, dried fruit and other flavourings 🍞 How to create beautifully soft sweet loaves and buns 🍥 How to shape and roll classic sourdough cinnamon rolls 🍪 A simple sourdough cookie recipe using starter ⸻ What Makes This Class Different? As many of you know, I’m currently studying for a Master’s in Clinical Nutrition. We’ll discuss: • The benefits of long fermentation • Choosing high-quality ingredients • Reducing sweetness while maintaining flavour • Incorporating whole grains where appropriate • How sweet baking can fit into a balanced lifestyle ⸻ What’s Included 🌿 All ingredients provided 🌾 Organic flour from Shipton Mill 🥚 Free-range eggs and locally sourced ingredients where possible ☕ Tea, coffee and refreshments throughout 📓 Printed recipe pack 🥐 Dough and baked goods to take home ⸻ Prerequisites This workshop is designed for bakers who already have a basic understanding of sourdough.
